Hey kids!

I’ve had a fairly uneventful weekend, a lot of inside time hiding from the rain :( .  This week was also fairly boring, just some dinner outings (I’m in love with fried dumplings) and some hang outs.
Friday at school we had a pajama party (as that is one of my kids vocabulary words for ‘Bed Time’ this week).  My kids were all decked out in their cute pajamas, and we watched Monsters Inc (well tried to, had problems with the sound and then we ran out of time….one day we’ll finish it).
Saturday I got suckered into working for a ‘half hour’ as they needed a foreign face for their mini open house they had planned.  I put on my super enthusastic teacher face and kicked it into high gear.  I scared myself, and some nervous children.  Everyone seemed to like it, and the parents were all smiling at my performance (maybe they were laughing at me…who knows! ;) ).  I then got caught in a thunderstorm on my way to Chinese lessons, and got SOAKED.  Time to invest in a better rain suit and helmet.  The rest of the day was just hanging out with the girls.  I ended up going out for a bit that night with a few people, but called it an early night as I was sleepy.  I should have went to the pagoda party on Friday as that was the happening thing to do…. :(

Today, although the sun did come out for a few hours, was spent watching Harry Potter – a marathon to catch Theresa up! I’m sure I wont be up to much else, except from skypeing tonight. Oh the excting life I lead!! lol

Hope things are well with yous, my friend Kristen is getting married on Monday in Cuba – so I may have to make my own beach party here to celebrate.  My baseball team back home also won the first part of their tournament – but we’ll have to see the ending results tomorrow.

Anyways, that’s about it.
I’ve added pictures from pajama day, and some other things about school.

Talk to you soon.
Miss you!

Erin
xoxo
