Ola!
Really it should be Nihao, as that is the language I’m supposed to be learning…

My week was fairly uneventful, with the past couple of days being pretty crappy. My scooter died on Thursday while on my way back to work at lunch…in the rain…. The wonderful Adam came and picked me up from the side of the road (thanks so much!!! ).  After work Friday Jeannie helped me to get my scooter picked up and get diagnosed…turns out it’s going to need a lot of work in the near future and the costs to fix it now (for the stuff that was broken) is costing as much as I bought the scooter for.  So, it was off to look at getting a new one.  I ended up buying one last night from a shop (complete with a basket!), so hopefully this one will be a bit more reliable.

Also this week our hot water tank broke, so I’m a big baby and don’t want to have a cold shower at 630 am I’ve been boiling water to put in a bath so I can bathe.  Hopefully this week it will be fixed (as we dont really know what’s wrong with it, and replacing the battery didnt help).

Last night I didnt get up to much other than scooter shopping and driving around town buying tea with Jeannie.  I’m addicted to Passionfruit Green Tea (bi shan guo..as I sing all the time – Jeannie loves it) and since there are tons of iced tea shops on every corner, we decided to try a bunch! Then I made my way back home to hang out at home (as I don’t like leaving the yappy dog overnight ) and Shannon and I watched ‘Baby Mama’.

Today, well I’m actually going to get ready to go to the pool.  Its 32 degrees today, and the sun is out.  It’s time to take advantage! Rest of the night I think I’m going to hunker down…do some cleaning…lay low.

This week I dont have much planned, as usual.
This weekend there is talk of going to Tainan, and then mention of camping too.  So we’ll see what I get up to.

I’m off to get ready for the pool…get some colour on my pasty bug bitten legs!
